the hotel's position was favourable and perfect, close enough to the centre of the high street location and another restaurant in jedburgh and a pub. had a good breakfast with toast and hot beverages, as for instance. had a real good stay for one night or all week, and would stay there again.

The hotel of choice in Jedburgh. Breakfast with freshly made coffee excellent. Excellent service, comfortable and best possible position in a lovely area. Based next to shops and bus station, Howick and Melrose and the beer garden.

The cozy room made our stay enjoyable despite the difficult car park access.

The breakfast was very good and provided with as much as meat eaters. The location was ideal, close to Abbey Close:)))

The room had a spa bath that offered a nice way to unwind after a long day of travel. Private and spacious layout made it a decent spot for resting before venturing out again.

The car parking situation left room for improvement, as the access was poorly marked and only had three guest spots. Arriving before check-in time was frustrating, given no one was there to assist or accept luggage. I also found a noticeable lack of cleanliness. The duvet cover needed changing, and the inn felt somewhat deserted during daylight hours. The bar area had shabby seating, and the noise level could escalate quickly, particularly from staff who weren't overly mindful of their volume.

Couldn't recommend more for a weekend trip

Quirky accommodation, clean rooms, where I enjoyed chatting with the friendly owners about the challenges of managing such an ancient building, and appreciated the well-functioning shower that was exactly what I needed after a long day of exploring.

The warm hospitality of the owners and the fantastic home-cooked breakfast made our stay memorable. Enjoyed the lively bar atmosphere with locals, which added a unique touch to our visit.

The room was really cozy and clean, loved the charm of the old building n the bed was super comfy! The owners were laid back and friendly, makin me feel welcomed right away. Breakfast was decent with some fresh ingredients, but the best part was the laid-back atmosphere in the bar. Great central location too, easy to explore jedburgh from here.

A lovely, historic building has been beautifully modernised, retaining its charming features. The breakfast was actually delicious, especially the local focaccia bread. While the water took a while to get hot initially, the hospitality from the owners was good. The bedroom could have used a bit more attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and decor.

The entrance was a bit tricky to find initially, and some areas felt drafty and unwelcoming, which took away from the overall experience.

We had a lovely stay for three nights, where the owner was super friendly and remembered our breakfast orders. The cozy room was clean, and we enjoyed the spa bath and relaxing by the outdoor terrace. The only hiccup was checking in since the place was locked until 4 pm, but it didn't ruin our overall experience! 😊
